The idea
This is how we picture it
The classic European trip, the one from the films: seven countries in sixteen days, crossing from Spain to France, from the Alps to Italy and back along the Côte d’Azur. It is a lot of ground, and that is exactly why it is designed to measure: what matters to you is stretched, and what does not is let go.
This is a trip idea, not a fixed package: every version is designed around the person living it.
Days 1-3
Madrid and the north of Spain
Two nights in Madrid and off towards France with a stop in Burgos, whose Gothic cathedral is a World Heritage Site.
The grand tour starts slowly on purpose: Madrid sets the standard for dinners for the rest of the trip.

Days 4-7
Bordeaux, the Loire and Paris
Bordeaux and the castles of the Loire valley on the way to three nights in Paris: the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and a sunset from the Seine.
Paris asks you to choose: nobody sees it all in three days, and half the charm is in leaving neighbourhoods for next time.
Days 8-13
The Alps and the great Italy
Zurich and the crossing of the Alps, then Italy in one run: Venice and its canals, Renaissance Florence and three nights in Rome with the Vatican.
The Italian stretch is the heart of the tour: three cities that each invented their own way of being beautiful.

Days 14-16
Pisa, the Côte d’Azur and the return
The Tower of Pisa, a night on the Côte d’Azur and the return to Madrid via Barcelona and Zaragoza, closing the circle.
Returning along the coast is the rest you have earned: the Mediterranean out of the window all the way to Spain.
Seven countries, and almost every morning a new language on the other side of the window.
